Arrow&Branch Dr. Crane leads California Grapevine tasting

The 2012 Dr. Crane was chosen as the first Cabernet Sauvignon in a group of Cabernets reviewed in the December 2016 issue of California Grapevine:

Medium-dark ruby color; very attractive, deep, intense, cedary, perfumed, cassis, black cherry, and dark berry fruit aroma with notes of dried herbs, barrel spice, and milk chocolate; full body; forward, rich, layered, deep, plummy, red and black fruit flavors with spicy notes, well integrated oak, and a pleasing mouthfeel; full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Shows very appealing fruit making the wine enjoyable to drink now, along with the balance and structure to age gracefully for another ten or more years. Very highly recommended.
