“From a cooler site in Oakville, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Vine Hill Ranch Vineyard has classic, old school Napa Valley notes of red and black fruits as well as floral, spicy, herbal nuances. Full-bodied on the palate, it has beautiful balance, perfectly integrated fruit, tannins and acidity, no hard edges, and that rare mix of intensity and elegance. This cuvée is 100% Cabernet from two blocks in the vineyard (Clones 4 and 337) and spent 22 months in 95% new French oak.”
